Wasn't it Jesus' Words and Missionaries that changed our Hyper-Violent Human-Sacrificing Ancestors?

Around Year 40 A.D., Jesus' words exalting selfless love as a moral obligation, began to circle the globe more than all other idea systems combined. At this time, all societies practiced human sacrifice and many featured human bloodsport and all put anyone to a grisly public death for vocally disagreeing with ideas revered by those in power.

Imagine the earth without the words below, spread by Jesus, Apostles and missionaries willing to be crucified, beheaded and burned alive to embed Jesus as the NEW moral norm of mankind's collective heart and mind. Can anyone say they are not
indebted to Jesus?
